Alex Smith.
They picked up an undrafted practice squad QB. There's no threat there. The 2 RB's have the same style as Frank. The 2 road graders in the 1st round were awesome and will start from day 1. Mays was a great pick in the 2nd. I'm very excited about this season and many more to come.

Basically that Gore gets butt hurt if his carries get taken away. So I bet he's not too thrilled about our new backs.
Gores the kind of guy that wants to be out there all the time and just play Ball. I like that about him
You have to love that kind of effort out of the guy, but he has to understand to split the carries now
I think that's what Singeltary meant in his comments about Gore "not getting it" when it comes to sharing carries. Gore has more passion for the game than most players in the league, which makes him so easy to root for; he also must understand the need to have talent available on the roster. He's missed enough games to know that. Plus, when RBs lose it, they lose it quickly. Seattle didn't have a back-up plan when Shaun ALexander lost it. Let's hope we are building it here!

I would seem that Alex is a very bittersweet right about now. He's very happy that we beefed up the offensive line. But I'm sure he's not too excited that the Niners appeared to be rolling out the red carpet for Jimmy Clausen and he would have been a Niner if he wasn't selected by Carolina one pick ahead of our pick.

What? Where do you get that? When did they ever say they were going to draft Clausen? Am I reacting badly to a joke, or do you really believe everything the draft commentators say?

Yeah Sing said that they didn't give much thought to drafting a QB at all. The whole Clausen thing was basically a smoke screen.
