Don't understand these contracts, how can you back out of a signed contract? Didn't his agent say yesterday he signed a contract with the 49ers.

according to shefter, we had him targeted him in the 6th round and had him on the phone. we didn't pull the trigger then and got him (agreed to terms) after the draft. so, we must have wanted him.
