49 RB Dexter McCluster Mississippi Sr. 5-9 172
First off, how cool is it the 49ers own the draft's 49th pick? Secondly, San Francisco was searching for a change of pace type runner to give teams a different look from Frank Gore. In the small but elusive McCluster, they've found one.
I'd take that all day.

He's my 'fun' pick, defense is a priority but if he's there and we take him I will definitely be happy with that.

At this point he's the only RB that I would want due to Spiller and Best being gone. I'm just not sure if he grades out higher then the top CB's or FS/SS available....?
Side note how you doing after the Thomas pick?

what you said. adding mccluster to our offense just makes our offense even more dangerous. imagine smith, gore, vd, crabtree, ginn, morgan, mccluster and a immensly improved oline we'll be sick on offense

yeaahhh....I agree. Unless the 9ers feel that McCluster (or whomever is there) is significantly better, they should focus on Defense.

That really depends on who's there. Sure if someone slips and is just a great value at CB or pass rusher I'd want that. But McCluster would add that dimension everyone wanted Spiller for, but at a much lower cost. He could be our Harvin, lined up all over. Really as long as we don't take Mays anyone is fine.
