Kindle fell for Medical reasons (update - not as bad apparently)

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/04/23/medical-issues-pushed-kindle-out-of-first-round/

Quote:
Several teams had Kindle off their board due to medical issues, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Chip Brown of Rivals.com writes that Kindle's knee was a "serious" medical risk that could require microfracture surgery.

Kindle also takes medication for narcolepsy and ADD, although we doubt those are major issues. Kindle is known for his football intelligence, but his durability risks was too great for teams to take in the first round.

Just spoke to John Clayton. Kindle knee is not microfracture, 2nd or 3rd degree. Half the teams have taken him off board. Should go high 2nd

That explains it.
Yep he's got knees of a 40 yr old! lol. that sucks cause i really think he would have been the best OLB for a 3-4 in the whole draft. the kid is freaky talented.

I wouldn't have a problem with either (provided the safety is the right safety). There are a few CB's that wouldn't be so bad either.

This makes sense because Lawson and Laboy are one year deals basically and Brooks has on only two years.

Sources tell the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel that Texas DE/OLB Sergio Kindle suffers from narcolepsy.
Kindle reportedly takes medication for the disorder, which allegedly caused him to "fall asleep in meetings and Longhorn coaches wondered what was wrong with him." He also reportedly has ADD. The reporter here -- Bob McGinn -- covers the Packers, leading us to think Kindle is on their radar.
