Me and my brother have a bet going. Whoever gets the most slots right (1-49) gets the jersey of the first skill position player the niners pick, purchased by the loser. How you guys think I'm going to do. This will probably be pretty close to my final draft (no pun intended).

define "skill" position. a WR/KR/PR in round 5 isn't exactly a great big ole prize!

Pretty much means, not an o-lineman or interior defensive lineman. I'd rock a LB's jersey, but I'm not about to walk around in a #75 Anthony Davis Jersey. If my mock's correct, it'd be Joe Haden.
it would be better than walking around in a #75 jonas jennings jersey

These picks are questionable.

-Denver just unloaded one headcase WR, would they really take another that high ? I think they fill this need with either 2 WR's in the 2nd or one in the 2nd and another in the 3rd/4th.

-Philly did just fine with Celek as the starting TE and they will soon get to see what they have in Ingram. They may take a TE in the mid to late rounds but early on they are more likely to address the OL, DL, OLB and possibly DB.

- Tampa has a good FS in Tanard Jackson, who had his best year yet last year, the need at S is for a SS.

- Denver traded it's own first rounder to move back into the 2nd round last year to select Alphonso Smith, not sure they spend another high pick on a CB when they have needs on the interior of the OL, WR, ILB, and on the DL. Same for Sapp they took Robert Ayers to play one OLB spot and have Dumervil at the other. While you can never have too many good pass rushers I don't see them addressing this area very early.

If you want that jersey those are the picks I would look closer at.
That jacksonville pick of McClain looks real suspect to me homie

Thanks for your help. I'm going to rethink all of them except the Kareem Jackson pick. Even if Alphonso Smith works out, which isn't looking likely, they will need an heir to Champ Bailey. He's aging and probably won't be playing at a probowl level by next year.
