Who do you want to be #7 on the 49ers big board? In other words, if the 49ers were choosing #7, and these players were already taken, who would you want them to choose? (If you want to vote for a player that doesn't appear in the poll, just write them in a post and I will put them in the poll.) The final count for the poll will be taken tonight at 12:00 PST.
Players already taken:
DT Ndamukong Suh
OT Russell Okung
S Eric Berry
DT Gerald McCoy
OT Bryan Bulaga
OT Trent Williams

This is a tuff one between Hayden and Bradford. I think the only way that the Niners would select Bradford is if none of the top three OT's were on the board or any other top-10 player at a position of need. Hayden is a top-10 player at a position of need, so I think he is the pick here.

Because there are few offensive players in this group, I picked Spiller. I'm not all that high on him, but the Niners' need on offense in general is more pressing than even their need at OT in particular. I picked Spiller over Davis because the play at RT was so poor last year, it's not only the most needed position but the easiest to improve with a later pick.

I disagree. RT is not a position that you can easily improve with a later pick and I think it is not only the number 1 need on offense but the number 1 need on the team. If we do not leave the first round with a RT we WILL NOT make the playoffs.

its the opposite u can find playmakers later in draft but quality T are usually at the beginning that is why u always find T are the most common position taken in first round where playmakers are rarely taken in first round

For those of you voting for Bradford, what is your reasoning for taking him over Hayden?

Bradford has had 2 MAJOR shoulder injuries in the past year, he comes from a spread offense, was surrounded by elite talent at OU, and doesn't have elite arm strength. I still think he's an elite quarterback prospect, but he has enough question marks for the Niners, who don't have a huge need at QB, to take him. It has to be Joe Haden. He is the best combination of need and value. His only knock is that he doesn't have elite speed, but neither did Nnamdi Asomugha who ran 4.45 at the combine, which is only slightly faster than what Haden ran.

My thoughts exactly.
