Love the trade and all the work put in to this mock. For me personally, i think our offense needs more attention. Not using either 2nd round or 3rd on offense? I dunno

I can live with that.
Not sure If we take a OLB with the first 2 picks.
Not sure Washington passes on a tackle in the first round.
Not sure Seattle passes on a tackle with their first 2 picks neither although I see you having them take one in the 2nd round.

I agree with you but, This isn't a mock of what I WANT per se. Though i'd be happy with it. It's more of a prediction of what i think will happen. My "draft" would have either Bryant, Tate or McCluster in it personally. I just don't see them doing that.

We don't have to take an OLB, definitely not a guaranteed pick.
Mike Shanahan, zone blocking, no namers. He doesn't need top flight line man and he knows it.
Yea I have Seattle getting one in the 2nd(Veldheer) and the 4th (Wang)

I love it, Davis and Kindle would both look good in Niner uniforms.

Shanahan drafted a top flight OT in Clady before he left Denver. and the o lineman at Denver might have been no name but they were good Skins lineman are worse than the Niners.

I'm not really sure about Kindle, I rather get Golden Tate if we trade down.
Can Hughes be olb in a 3-4?

Love the trade and the draft! I was working on a similar trade with the Eagles only going after their 37th pick from the Redskins. I hope we get an opportunity to trade down and pick up an extra second.
As to your second round pick, Donald Brown. What is it about him that you like as an ILB? The reason I ask is that the following guys are still available:
56. Rodger Saffold has good feet and balance. Would make a fine zone guard.
58. Lamar Houston could start as a DT on passing downs
59. Cam Thomas as a very athletic NT with Franklyn in his contract year. (My choice)
John Jerry - good feet and balance, a powerful guard
Dexter McCluster - missed on Spiller but at 55 McCluster is good value.
At #113, you pick Lonyae Miller. Why do you like him?
Here is who is still on the board:
114-Blair White- good hands and size. An upgrade over Josh Morgan.
116-Jamar Chaney - fast large ILB
Eric Decker - rehabbing a knee, but with our depth at WR, we could wait a year.
Overall, best draft I've seen.

I think if this trade went down we definitely would look at Tate or McCluster. 2 guys i'd want really badly. This is Alex Smith's make or break year (i know we've heard that before too many times but anyways...) and they know they gotta surround him with weapons or whoever the next young QB we will go with going forward.
In this scenario (Two 1st round, two 2nds and a 3rd) i would hope they would go with some combination of OT, OG, WR/RB/KR/PR (Tate/McCluster) and then 2 defensive guys. Would set us up very nicely.

Personally, I'd much rather walk away from the 1st day with Earl Thomas and Anthony Davis. I don't think Kindle is going to be that effective as a 3-4 OLB. People just love his measurables and athleticism.
I do think that Reshad Jones is a very nice alternative though.
Given your scenario, I'd like to see:
1a. A. Davis, OT
1b. Mathews/Best, RB
2a. R. Jones, S
2b. J. Worilds, OLB
3. A. Owusu-Ansah, CB/Ret
4a. M. Newhouse, OG
4b. Eric Decker, WR/Ret

Not going to sit here like I know ANYTHING about ANY of these players. As Kindle is the only player I can say I watched. I just took what we needed, what I heard Sing and co has said and where players where projected to go and threw people there. They supposedly want to find an eventual replacement for Spikes (Donald Butler) and they want a change of pace back (Lonyae Miller).
They both just happened to be who I picked because of the way I had the draft falling. Had nothing to do with them personally as I know nothing about either!

I hope you are wrong about Tate and McCluster. I think they would be great additions in the late first or mid second. Taking Donald Butler in the 2nd seems like a big reach too me. I would rather take someone like Lamar Houston or Carrington at DE at that point if you want to address the defense.

Nice mock Krizay. Glad to see you're willing to give up your Texas safety (who I don't want).
