I have a feeling the Bay will be welcoming Cj Spiller soon enough, the excitement he's generated throughout the fan base has not gone unnoticed.
If excitement among the fan base were the main criteria for drafting, the Jaguars would move up to the #1 spot and take Tebow.
except in a poll of Jag fans and ticket holders the majority didn't want the team to draft Tebow.

Those saying Gore can go another 4-5 years at his current pace our in denial.
He hasn't played in all 16 games since 2006 and he's missed more time each season. 1 game in 2007, 2 games missed in 2008, and 3 games missed last year. And as such his carries have gone down every year since 2006, last year he toted the rock 206 times, his lowest total since his rookie season.
We are having to rely on Gore less and less as the years pass and considering that we are trying to make a playoff run this year it would behoove the team to not take that into account. Especially, considering his contract comes up at the end of next season, a little far out to be sure, but Bill Walsh always said he'd rather get rid of a guy a year early than a year late. Something we will have to think about when he's 28 and looking for a new deal.

They only asked the ticket holders, why not ask all the other fans who could potentially become ticket holders, and people who would come to games and buy Jaguars gear.
Tebow in the 2nd or 3rd for them makes sense.
