Demaryius Thomas. I'm a sucker for big tall fast WRs

Demaryius Thomas>>>>Dez Bryant. Better athleticism, bigger, more work ethic, etc. DT reminds me of a young TO. If he would've played with a real QB and a real system at GT he would've gone crazy. 1K yards and 25 yards per catch is insane. He supposedly also ran a 4.38 40 on tape before he injured his foot and couldn't run at the combine. Plus he has a better attitude and less question marks.

No way DT runs in the 4.3s. He is around a 4.45. At best. Those 40 times are so screwed up (Taylor Mays at combine ran an unofficial 4.28 and an official time of 4.43). however, Thomas is one of the most explosive players and straight line speed is not always as important as acceleration, which thomas has in spades.

Only thing keeping him back are his hands. They don't suck, but they sure aren't as good as Dez's. Thomas can lose concentration and drop easy passes, as well as the fact that he is really raw and has never ran pro routes.

I actually like Damian Williams, but I think both DT and DW will go in the first 7 in the second round.

Just realised that i wrote "eould" instead of would in the title. I gotta get more sleep.

A poor mans Wes Welker?

Yes, because he's "white"
Golden Tate

This ought to be locked for not having him as an option. Esp given his return value.
Of those listed, I'd opt for either Jacoby Ford or Jordan Shipley...because I see both guys having the ability to develop into a very good slot receiver. That would help open up deeper routes for Morgan, Crabtree, Hill and Jones.
I don't think I would take a receiver in this draft.
I voted Shipley in the 4th because I think that would be GREAT value there and he's very much what we need; a fast slot WR that's tough enough to go over the middle and can also be our primary kick and punt returner. I don't really think he'll be there in the 4th tho.

The pick I really want is Antonio Brown in the 4th or 5h. I think he's almost as good as Shipley, and he'll actually be there that late.
Yeah, Shipley and Ford can both return kicks...which makes them good value picks. But, we still have Zeigler...and this is his last year of PS eligibility. I wouldn't mind seeing him stick, because he catches just about everything close to him.

Who's awesome?

YOU'RE AWESOME!
I like Shipley if we haven't got a returner at that point.

I also like Damian Williams.

Golden Tate would be nice in the 1st round if we trade down, maybe he slips to early second. He's first round talent though.

I dunno man, I know he might not have great hands, but they aren't Troy Williamsonesque either. I'd say they're decent. He reminds me of TO dude. TO was picked in the 3rd, but if you redid 96 draft over again he'd be top 10. He's going to be a lot better than the majority of the WRs in this draft. I like Williams too btw but I'd much rather taker DT because there's so much potential there.
Are we that close to April 20th? Some people sound high. I pray we don't use a pick in the first 3 rounds on a receiver, unless the player is clearly the best player available where we are picking.

yep. poll should have an option for no wr. With crabs, morgan, hill, jones and maybe zeigler I just don't see the point this year. Maybe a return specialist who happens to be listed as a receiver in the 6th or 7th, but as for a straight wr, no interest.
