Crabtree, Bryant, Morgan, VD and Gore= NASTY!!! bryant, crabs, morgan and VD are all huge and can block, not to mention every one of them has plenty of speed and shiftiness to account for so Gore could pick up huge chunks of yardage just based on the threat of the pass. if he falls to 13 and the top OT's are gone, only a fool would pass on him.

Just considering the possibility of dealing with the Parker/Sanders circus two years in a row and again hearing that a player should be paid above slot because he slipped due to circumstances beyond his control makes me queasy.
I don't think that ish would fly this year. Parker lost out BIG time last year, he won't let it happen 2 years straight. I mean one of the 1st questions at the scouting combine to players he represents is whether they are going to be to camp on time.

Forget Bryant...it's not happening. He'll be gone in top 10, probably top 5. Besides, if Mac can corral Sproles, it'd open up the 1st round to go big on the OL by taking Campbell and Iupati and finally fix it. There are plenty of receivers in this draft, like Tate, Shipley, Gilyard and a host of others, plus Zeigler's got no more PS eligibility, so he's a better bet to stick on the roster this year.

there only 2 teams ahead of us that will take him the browns and the broncos every i dont even think browns will take him because they have much bigger needs broncos have to take him then which i think will happen however if mcclain ot dan williams falls to the broncos pick there is gonna be some debate on who to take

If Bryant falls to 13 that means he will also fall to 14.

Bryant bigger/better addition than Spiller IMO.
Bryant will see the field a whole lot more while still adding playmaking abilities. He can return punts and would allow us to leave Morgan returning kicks.
This will also allow us to add a speed back who will only see the field 7-10 times a game later in the draft.
I agree, I think our WR corp is way way overrated. If Bryant is there (and assuming there are no other highly rated guys who fell to 13) we have to take him. We can get an OT at 17. Crabtree + Bryant will make defenses s**t their pants.

Just how good is his return skillz?
22 returns, 432 yards, 3 td's 19.6 ypr that's his punt returning. His kick returning ain't all that sporty. 6 returns, 143 yards, 0 td's 23.8 average

Trade the pick for an impact player.

Very doubtful that Bryant would fall past Jax, Denver, and Miami and 10,11, and 12.
However, if he does I would still pass on him and look for a trade partner. WR is simply not a position we need to draft this year.

I heard on Sirius NFl, channel 124, that Dez Bryant will not be running at all at the combine due to a pulled Hammy!!!! Could be the Crabtree situation all over again....cant perform in the combine due to an injury....and let the slide begin! We NEED to grab him at #13 If he's there! We could use the 17 on our OT....not to mention WERE LOOKING FOR A RT, NOT A LT! RT value is found in the later half of the first round traditionally. Dominant LT's are the most important OL possition, but we already have Staley. Solid RT's are easier to find, and usually drafted LATER than RT's.
If he's gone....I'd like to see baluga/williams at 13, and Laputi at 17....unless Hayden is there at 13. If it goes down with us taking a playmaker at 13, and an RT with 17, we can EASILY address the OG possition in the 2nd, and a SS or passrusher in the 3rd.
WOW! Imagine having Crabs, Gore, Davis, Bryant, and Morgan on the field at the same time!!! WE'd be STACKED on offense finally, and wouldn't be reaching at #13 for a RT....because seriously....I'd almost feel guilty getting a RT with the 13th pick...LT I understand, but RT at 13 seems like a reach.

If he's there at #13 and he's the top player on the team's board, they should either take him or trade out for more picks. Getting value (however you can) out of your 1st pick is critical, as opposed to reaching for a lesser player at a position of need.

I'm shocked. A) since when is receiver not a need for us? We need playmakers. Sure Crabtree and Davis are on board now, but can anyone really say we can't use more? B) this is one of the 6/7 most talented players in the draft (Suh, McCoy, Berry, Haden, JPP, Bryant)
Search: Cardinals....! Its never a bad thing to have 3-4 great recievers.

If Dex falls we wish him a good career and then continue to shut him down just like Fitz and Boldin.
