Natural talent and work ethic are far more important than a prospect's mechanics. As long as the player is coachable, it can be corrected, provided the talent and drive is there.
BTW, his voice just annoys me. He's too soft spoken. Plus, it's a sin to draft someone early if they still have their V-card. He would need to booze it up and get some ass before I'd let him in my locker room.
Agree with your fist paragraph 100%. And I think GM's and coaches in the NFL will be forced to take more chances on a spread offense taught QB due to it being the dominating offense in college. We're seeing more and more spread QB's coming out of college, only they're not going as high than the Pro style taught QB.
As for your second paragraph:
Thats not really his chick, thats just some dumb b***h that asked to take a picture with him, so he says.
Thats what he said in an ESPN interview so it has to be true
. . . and the girl in the bikini is Lucy Pinder.

That was a darn good interview. Very candid, I must say. It was good to see the NFL Network guys not waste anytime and go right into the heart of the issues that have been dogging him. Thanks for the link.

He's probably going somewhere in the second so we're not gonna draft him. If somehow he slips into the 3rd well have to trade up in front of the Jags.
As much as I try to hate Tebow he's got great character.

don't be so sure if we pass on him in the second if there. maybe. depends on how the first round pans out. He had a great weekend. he's got great football iq but his work ethic & motivation are second to none, and in the long runs it will pan out so it's nto a total loss to draft him in the second especially if he puts 110% into it! can't hate on a guy for that

Tebow wont last past the 2nd round... if you think the 49ers should take a QB in the draft look for Dan Lefevour you can get him a little later and hes a pretty similar player to Tebow

Lefevour is the guy no one seems to be talking about too much cuz they have their mouths full of Tebows nuts. I've never seen analysts and the press at anytime lobby for a guy the way they are for him. Nice kid and all, but project QB's don't go in the 2nd round. If he is drafted that high, the GM of that team should be fired on the spot.
Here's a nice little Halloween costume I seen on a website that shows my point on
how the press loves this guy.

I've gotta say, been pretty impressed with Tebows effort in doing what it takes to be a QB in the NFL. I've been one of his biggest critics in the past years, but nothing is keeping this kid down. They or I, have been ripping him about his footwork and release, what does this kid do, go out and get 3 NFL coaches to help him, when he could've just waited till he got on a team to do so. Like I've said in the past though, I love this kids will to win and leadership, things that cannot be taught. I have this feeling that if Tebow drops to the 3rd or 4th round, Sing and McCloughan just might turn in the slip.
I've been in the minority of supporters for Tebow. He understands all his cons and knows what scouts will be looking for. It is a shame that Urban Meyers didn't really prepare him for the pros, but like you said, his will to win and leadership just can't be taught. He's going to do all he can to become a starter in the NFL. It may take a year or two, but he is definitely going to progress.
In defense to meyer, its not like college coaches are allowed all the time in the world to take these kids under their wing. NCAA really limits their available time. Meyer has a system to run, he just doesn't have the desired time to try and teach two systems to his pupils to get them ready for the nfl.
