49ers Secondary coach Vance Joseph.
Taylors Mays faster than Vinton Holliday on the Simulcam. He's faster than 4.40

Yea the DB coach working with DB rathman worked with running backs and solari worked with OL

Nice good to see. I would put money on us going DB/OL/RB in the first 3 rounds in some kind of order. No surprise we're working with them at the combine.

your right it's trendon holliday & holiday's offical 40 was 4.34. Mays was faster as you could see so there's a flaw in his 40

Was pretty funny. I just don't see how you can be that slow.

When they interview Mays and told him his official time he was really pissed. I can see why after the simulcam clearly shows him being faster than a guy who ran 4.34 and almost as fast as Jacoby Ford who ran a 4.28.

Well then Rich needs to go down to Prime U and work on his 40.
Since a couple of weeks ago, I kept reading about a very tall corner compared to the norm in this year's draft and wondered where he would go. I thought maybe the third. After his good 40 time and broad jump, Chris Cook should be considered maybe in the second.

He fits McC's size weight combo at 6'2", 212 lbs who ran a 4.46 and 11' on the broad jump!

How does he compare to Sean Smith of the Dolphins who picked him toward the end of the second?

Lateral movement issues? Slower football speed?

Anyone have more info on him?

No info on extra measurables tico....but at the senior bowl i read that he was a guy we were looking at A LOT....along with Jeff Byars G from USC.

I was hoping we could get Cook in the 3rd or 4th, but now I'm not so sure.

He looked really good in the senior bowl. I wouldn't mind if we picked him. He's a freak with that size and athleticism. Just imagine dude going up against Fitz, Spencer vs Boldin, and TBrown vs Breaston. He would be our Fitz stopper and then Boldin couldn't kill us so bad. PLus he has the athleticism to cover guys like DeSean Jackson who always kill us and he could really blanket him. I'd love a pick of Chris Cook.
