Mel Kiper's 49ers needs?

First round (13, 16): Trent Williams, Earl Thomas
Second-round options (49): G Mike Iupati, DE Corey Wooton, S Morgan Burnett, CB Kyle Wilson
Third-round options (79): G Jon Asamoah, CB Syd'Quan Thompson, S Major Wright, DE Hall Davis, DE D.J. Wilson, OLB Rico McCoy
Summary: Some people will consider taking a RT at No. 13 a bit of a leap in terms of value, but Williams is an outstanding player that can strengthen you immediately. If the 49ers go with a guard, Iupati is a fantastic one, and the offensive line gets a lot better overnight. Thomas, as I said in the mock, covers a ton of ground and can help immediately. From there the Niners could try to get good value elsewhere in the secondary or look for a DE or even a pass-rushing OLB. I can also see San Francisco taking a later-rounds shot on a QB, but this team needs to focus on more glaring needs early on.

This would be absolutely amazing, but unless God seriously smiles on us in this draft I dont see this happening. These guys all seem to be flying up the draft board, especially Kyle Williams. I just saw the video on espns site where they discuss tebows stock, at the end of the video kiper says teams now have williams at the end of the first round...

What's interesting is that it doesn't mention KR needs

Yes that is a very glaring need for the 49ers!

Kyle Wilson & Syd'Quan Thompson wouldn't help there???

We may need to take Trent and Iupati with our 1st round picks.

I would have to say that you have called it PERFECTLY!!!!! That would be great for the Niners... then they might have time to throw the ball and run to the right side without Vernon blocking that side!!!
if we pick up Syd-Quan that would be LEGIT!!!
i dont see rico mccoy as a 3-4 linebacker...

I'd be fine with that although I'd rather take Williams and Spiller if he's there. I don't see how we get both of them because Seattle is going to take the one we don't at #14. As far as Kiper's 2nd round choices, neither Iuapati or Kyle Wilson are going to be there at #49. I don't think either gets out of the 1st. I'd be fine with Earl Thomas, Dez Bryant, or Anthony Davis in the 1st too. We have to get at least one OL though. We can always pick up another one in the 2nd or 3rd if we only get one in the 1st.
