From what I have read the scouts at the Senior Bowl have generally positive reviews of Iupati thus far, although they all tend to suggest that drills have confirmed he is better suited to play Guard than Tackle, which was something they previously considered him capable of doing.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/01/27/iupati-making-an-impression-in-mobile/ :
One of the most buzzed about players during Senior Bowl week thus far is a 325-pound interior lineman. Idaho's Mike Iupati must be doing something right to get so much attention at an oft-overlooked position.
A sample of the love being thrown his way:
Former Ravens/Browns scout Daniel Jeremiah: [Iuputi is the] most likely Pro Bowler if you took a poll of scouts at Senior Bowl. Rare size, strength and quickness. Sticks out like a sore thumb."
Greg A. Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel: "[The Packers] were very, very high on Idaho G Mike Iupati, maybe even a good possibility when they pick at No. 23. But he won't. If people overlooked Iupati before this week, they haven't now . . . He's a darn good player and is screaming up draft boards. 35-inch arms don't hurt."
ESPN.com: Iuputi has confirmed his spot as the best guard in the draft.

Just noticed there was an Iupati thread already. This probably should be moved there.

At this point, you can put me down in the "let's draft a RT (Davis, Buluga, or Williams) and Iupati at #13 & 17" side.

If everyone is saying that he's got the potential to be a probowler, we need to take the drama out of it and just select him with the 2nd 1st round pick instead of trading down to get more picks.

Hopefully, McCloughan stops his "I don't value guards" philosophy. He set us back when Smiley was not resigned.

yeah seriously, and if this yr gave him any indication that our oline sucked and look at the money playoff teams actually put in olinemen then he better make the pick. unless some team trades up for a guard which i cant see happening i believe iupati should be there at 16 or 17

this is my fear. Someone that slips at a position of lesser need seems to be more his MO.
