He is the complete package at the saftey position. In coverage he's like having another corner on the field. He does a great job of reading the quarterback and has terrific ball skill (6) interceptions. He's also a very good tackler and is at his best in big games.
In summary; This guy if available at #13 will be hard to pass up.
Kiper is an idiot

My top three would be:
1a. Trent Williams or Brian Bulaga, OT
1b. Mike Iupati, OG
2. Javier Arenas, CB/KR
We've got talent on the skill positions. All we need is to provide protection on pass plays and to open holes on the running plays. 3rd and 1? Run it behind Iupati and get that crucial 1st down. Walt Harris and Dre Bly are questionmarks for next year, so developing another CB while being able to help in the return game will be ideal.

This would be great but there's no way McC drafts two linemen in the first round.

It has happened this decade. The Jets drafted D'brickashaw Ferguson (LT) and then Nick Mangold (C) in the first round and both are now pro bowl players.

I think Scott has always tried to get OL help, but I blame the Offensive Line Coach forn not getting the best out of them players

My opinion has changed alot with the draft after reading everyone elses opinion. The one thing that has not changed is we need a right tackle, 1st pick Anthony Davis.
We need help in the secondary but with Hadden who I dont really like probably gone there is no one IMO worth taking at 16/17 at the CB position and as for Safety Berry is gone but I would be okay with Mays to replace Lewis at SS and leave Goldson at FS but no one wants Mays at 16/17 he would be a reach at that spot. As for Earl Thomas who I think would be great IMO at FS moving Goldson to SS which would make our secondary great with Spencer, and Clements coming back after injury with Bly/Brown at nickel. But still to high at that spot for most 9ers.
So in the end we fill our next need with a rush OLB in the 3-4 who fits this spot at 16/17, 2nd pick (1st round) Jerry Hughes.
I think we could go in a number of directions in the 2nd round with our 3rd pick. We could look for help in the secondary, continue to help the O-line, add a WR/KR etc... in the end we go with our 3rd pick Mardy Gilyard WR/KR

That too. We have a horrible O-line coach.

I think Haden will be an average CB in the NFL. Not someone worth spending a first round pick on.

Sorry, but I hate these picks. Not anything wrong with these prospects, I just do not like the individual people or there style. Earl Thomas is too small, Bulaga is a terrible run blocker, and Shipley is mediocre.
Earl Thomas is 5'10, 197 lbs.
Jarius Byrd is 5'10, 200 lbs
Nick Collins is 5'11, 207 lbs
Antoine Beathea is 5'11, 203lbs
IN other words Thoms is proto-typical size for a FS.
Bulaga is a great run blocker
Watch this video and tell me again that Bulaga isn't a great run blocker

Shipley has great hands and great speed after the catch. He'd be a good pickup

Your forgetting:
Troy Polamalu 5'10" 207
James Sanders 5'10" 210
Jim Leonhard 5'8" 190
Brandon Meriweather 5'11" 200 - who actually looks shorter than that.
Mike Brown 5'10" 207
