I was at the Sun Bowl today and specifically watched him all game. First he was playing center - not OT. Second, he seemed lathorgic and seems to have a weak motor. I never saw him finish a play or bust his a$$ to get a downfield block.
Saying this, I hope we pass on him because i have seen in a lot of mocks, they have us taking him

I vote against taking Trent Williams the OT from Oklahoma because

Yeah, I kind of feel you. I think there are better options. I'd prefer an OT with quicker feet. I'd be very weary of spending an early pick on him. He'll probaby go somewhere around #10, but I don't like the value there.
He looks like he'll struggle with speed rushers, especially in the pros.

Question for you.........how often do you see a center get to the second level on any run? It is rare for centers to be asked to pull or get downfield, unless it's a screen. As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't mind if the guy could move into the center position if needed. Versatility is actually a plus for offensive linemen. One game that you saw is not enough for the Niners to dismiss a top prospect in a position of need.

After watching Iupati yesterday, it will be hard for ANY OL to impress me this bowl season. OTC and MD were right, Iupati is special.

I would hella rather take Iupati. That guy is going to be a beast of a guard. I'd rather take Iupati and then re-sign Pashos or something. Williams seems to have slow feet to me.

Lazy/lethargic/lack of motor
hmmmmmmmmm sounds familiar about someone we drafted before
hmmmmmmmmm who is it???
yep It's DAVID BAAS
so I'll pass on Trent Williams even though I liked him earlier this year.
It's Anthony Davis or a playmaker, stay the hell away from trent williams

and he is really struggling. He starts because they have nothing else. On NFC playbook they const. focus on him and how he struggles.

Are you guys really judging an OT that had to move to center for one game because of injuries. He actually played well on a really weak O-line. If anything he showed valuable versatility. Not sure if he'll be great at the next level but to judge him poorly based on the only game he's played center is ridiculous.
