Gosh, yes. Every time I feel like I might be able to get things done by a certain time, I wind up having to push it back. I'm wiped out. Sorry guys I'll get this done as soon as I can. I'm continuing to do tweaks right now.

There may still be a very small amount of minor tweaks following the Pro-Days of some players, but at this point, my talent-tier board is almost entirely locked in.

Soon enough, I'm going to start making my Niner-board spreadsheet to kick back with as I watch the draft. (It's compiled based on our system. i.e. you'll see defensive players categorized as 3-4 OLB, TED ILB, 3-4 DE, NT, etc.) -- I normally do not provide that board to people, as I'd rather have you all enjoy the draft rather than perhaps see people get into arguments over player grades, etc... but if you'd like a copy when it is complete, I'm feeling more up to it this year, so let me know.

Whose system? Do you mean our defensive scheme or you work for a scouting company and you have a system by which you scout players? I used to think you were just a guy who is knowledgeable about the NFL and you scout the college guys in your off time but now I'm wondering if you work as a scout or something or on someone's website.

I'm referencing defensive scheme when I talk about doing it "by system." I was exceptionally close to getting involved in professional scouting a few years ago, but if you want to be a scout, be prepared to have much of the fun sucked out of the games. That deterred me and I decided I'd much rather continue doing what I am now, extensively researching and evaluating players on my own, even if I don't get paid for it.

All right, just to let you guys know, at this point I do not have plans to make a complete board in the sense of a complete ranking, such as Kiper's "Best Available" board he displays on draft day. My board at this time will only rank players by position. This will save me time.

Another disclaimer: to further save time, I do not feel the need to add kicking specialists or long snappers, tight ends and quarterbacks to the list. You may add them yourselves if you like, but I already know in my head all the players and how I'd rank them, but just don't have the time to include them.

I'll be working on the board over the next week or so and will let you know when it's complete.
