FCS Championship Semi-Final

In case anyone's interested. It's about to wrap up on ESPN2.

You should be watching William & Mary vs. Villanova right now. Some great late-round prospects in that game, especially Adrian Tracy of W&M.

He looks excellent out there playing hybrid DE/OLB. I've seen him often drop into coverage and he looks quite natural doing so. Quick burst off the snap rushing on the edge as well. He's had a monster year, and at 6-3 243 4.70, he's got good size and speed for the position. Just to add, he actually looks and plays even bigger than his 243 pound frame would suggest.

Tracy's stats on the year are: 72 tackles, 22 TFL, 11 sacks, 4 passes defensed, 1 FF, 5 QB hurries.

Overall, he's been an excellent player in the FCS this year, and I wouldn't at all mind taking a shot on the guy in the 6th round.

On Villanova's side, watch WR/KR Matt Szczur, he's only a junior, but should be a late-round contending player next year. Very quick guy, reminds me a lot of Welker. Garnered 1st-team All-CAA honors this year and he's had a heck of a game today.

Just giving everyone a heads up on some small-school stuff.

Sorry, man. I watched some of it, and it was a pretty great game, but I didn't have time to make a thread for it.

Both schools have a few guys to look for, namely Armanti Edwards from App. St.

He's gonna be a solid NFL player and I think Montana's Marc Marianai from Montana could be a pretty good 3rd WR. Plus he's awesome on punt and kick returns.

Yeah, another guy that intrigued me was FS Shann Schillinger. Very quick and good size, at 6-0 200 4.43. Hits like a brick, pretty good in coverage too, and he made an interception yesterday.

Not bad numbers on the year: 4 INTs, 2.5 TFL, 1 FF. I'd pick him in the 7th, as well as Marianai, but I think Marianai could go in the 6th round.

For those who don't know about Marianai -- here's some info. I'm almost certain our scouts know about him, because he demolished Cal Poly for 6 catches, 200 yards and 2 TDs.

He's, 6-0 185 and will clock around 4.50.

2009 stats:
71 catches, 1301 yards, 12 TDs.
31 punt returns for 507 yards, 1 TD.
5 kickoff returns for 199 yards, 1 TD.

2008 stats:
69 catches for 1308 yards, 15 TDs.
23 punt returns for 373 yards, 2 TDs.
25 kick returns for 572 yards.

I'll do a write up on Marianai for my next "Unknown Players" features. Reminds me a lot of last year's Julian Edelman.

Schillinger has been awesome during his career as well. If we grab either of them in the later rounds I'd be happy.
