if we are in a situation where any pick, except for mark ingram, is a reach, then we can trade down or take a 2nd-round QB...if you are desperate at the QB position, i don't see drafting a 2nd-round prospect with your mid-first as a reach.

I am a Bama fan and I been watching this guy for the last few years and have been saying this to myself that he reminds me so much of Gore the way he runs. He is a great leader and who knows how long Gore has. Unless we trade back if we were picking somewhere around 10 then I would grab him. I think someone like New England would really push for this guy.

check out the 2nd page of my post in the Todd McShay mock draft. Patrick Peterson is our guy unless Dallas grabs him first IMO.

He's overrated. IMO, few RBs are ever worth a first and Ingram is definitely not one of them.

He's a talented guy with average speed. He'll be productive in the the NFL, but I don't think he'll be a star. Then again, with RBs, it all depends on the team/offense they play on. With the league shifting to more passy-heavy atracks, I think top end speed in becoming more of a priority. Mainly, I think productive RBs can be found later in the draft. To me, that devalues them.

i think top end speed only gets u so far CJ is not nearly getting the numbers like he did last year and cj spiller who every1 (but practically me) thought he would be a star but only has 150 yds this season
at this day and age u need to have power with vision and average to good speed this is what ingram has
not saying he is a sure fire prospect but i think he will do good

Sounds like Emmitt Smith when he came out--turned out alright don't you think?
