I need all the guru's expertise on this guy.

A 4-year starter, I've been impressed with him since I started to take notice of him last season and he's only gotten better and better in my eyes. I consider him a top-5 CB, and a 2nd rounder at the lowest in this upcoming draft.

He's extremely good in pass D and an excellent player vs the run as well.

What are you guys' opinions on him?

Like Alphonso Smith, his size will almost assuredly drop him into the 2nd.

Smith was barely 5-9, and Thompson might not even be that. At least he's got some punt return ability going for him.

I think he measures at 5 10.5. If im not mistaken. Could be though.

NFL Draftscout.com has him listed at 5'9", 191. He doesn't look that big to me. We'll find out at the combine. Scrappy little guy but I'm afraid Fitzgerald and Boldin would eat him alive.

Wow, he certainly doesn't play that small.

I'd love to have him if he lasts to the fourth round, but only if we've drafted at least three offensive linemen by that point.
