Took another one to the house this week. He is definitely great as a KR. Too bad we can't use him as a RB as much.

Would love to have me, just don't think we'll get him.

Nope he will be gone before we even pick n we already have a RB in Gore.

shipley is the better option in round 4

Those ankles those ankles.

I want us to draft this kid! He is amazing!

I think we should look at my cousin, garrett tidwell. He's a junior at san angelo state, tx
He had some grade issues and off the field issues before join angelo state last year.
He made some bad choices, but he was able to rebound from 2 years of not playing.
5'9 wide receiver, punt returner, kick returner,)
190 pounds
ran a 4.38 as a freshman
Beat out colt mccoy as the 04 TX player of the year in 2a.
At angelo state, he has scored touchdown by PR, KR and a receiving touchdown.
He's been drawing interest from the Tennessee titans, so he might come out early.
I think he's worth looking at for a 6th or 7th.
Jahvid Best or CJ spiller!!! instant firepower wherever you put them. WR, RB, KR, PR. TD potential every time they touch the ball
Yes we do.
Theres no way we spend a first day pick on a return guy...we have gaping holes at safety, pass rush, O-line, and arguably QB, all of which should and can be addressed on Day 1, thus making something like a return specialist something we need to target no EARLIER than the 3rd round (and even that I feel is early, 4th is much more likely) so guys like Jahvid Best and CJ Spiller wont be available then...

I think guys like Shipley or ANY KR/PR who will fall between 3rd-7th (pending the remainder of the season and combine) round choices are guys we need to target...other names that intrigue me are Jacoby Ford, Justin Woods, Brandon Banks, Andre Roberts, AJ Jefferson, & Leonard Johnson although idk if Leonard will be eligible, idk what year he is...

Trindon Holliday is a name a buddy of mine threw out and I dont know much about the kid, ironically enough, I dont watch much LSU football, it always seems to be on at the same time a critical Pac-10 game is on for me lol so yeah

Spiller is going to go in the top two rounds of the draft. Spending that high of a pick on a guy just because of his KR ability is a little scary. Gore is our primary RB, Coffee is the primary backup, and Robinson is still our ST captain. Where is going to get snaps?

I think if we drafted him I think we could find plenty of ways to get the ball in his hands & special teams returns would be taken care of with an experienced & explosive guy.

I'm with you re Shipley. I don't watch too many college games but have seen him several times now and came away impressed. He's fast, got sure hands and has good moves. He also takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. he can probably be had in the middle rounds too. I dont' know though, the 9'ers seem to have an aversion to white receivers. white TE's ok, but white receivers? I seem to recall we had a great one in Ed McCaffrey and let him get away. I say give Shipley a try if he's there for one of our picks and at a good price.
Desean Jackson would have been nice!!!
