Through all this head coaching stuff and negativity about our team, I think our Oline next year will be a beast. The two rookies will be past their learning curve and hopefully the new head coach will coach them up even more. BOOYAH!

i will be excited if we replace RG Chilo Rachel.
but i understand where your excitement is coming from the O-line should be strong next season and finally wont be the reason we're losing games.
LT-Joe Staley(decent LT maybe will swap with A. Davis in a season or two)
LG-Mike Iupati(a beast of a lineman)
C-Eric Heitman or David Baas (to be replaced in the next year or two..
decent for now)
RG- Chilo Rachel(hopefully repaced this offseason by a vet or beat out by a rookie in camp)
RT-Anthony Davis(if his pass protection skills inprove well enough swap Staley)
i hope ^^

Most importantly, no more Sing to the O-line coach "great job, just focus on run-blocking a bit more".

I'm very excited. And we will have a new head coach so it will be important to channel all the emotions they will have when the season first kicks off (excitement about the new season and excitement and belief in the new system) and get off to a great start.
If we get off to a great start next year, I think the talent that we have will be more than enough to keep up with the emotions.
Before we would get off to a good start but the team/coaches were not that great so it all came to surface after a while. With a knowledgable coach making strategic moves on a regular basis during the game, a great start will be exactly what this team needs.
I can't wait til next year and see how good they can be with some unpredictable play calling, especially running plays

Off to a good start he says. More like off to a false start mwahahaha...hehehe...meh! That's just not as funny as it sounded in my head.

Well that just depends on how funny you thought it was in your head. If the extra "haha's" and "hehe's" were put in there to stress how funny it was, then you are correct, it was much funnier in your head

I am, like so many others I'm a little worried about Chilo, but I think the line as a whole really started to gel towards the end of the year. IMO they should come together to form a solid unit this year.

I mirror your excitement. But I hold back and say give them another 2 seasons and we should see these two young guns solidify their oppositions. But yeah, next season should see them become more accustom at the NFL level.

I think we can look forward to competence on the O-line next season--and that'll be a very pleasant change for the better.
Realistically, I don't see the O-line being dominant for at least another season or two and I believe it is important to keep drafting at these positions, especially so, now that we're back to square one on the QB development front. We've got to give our new QB a fighting chance.

LG-Mike Iupati(a beast of a lineman)
Why Davis was rated higher than the awesome, throwin Samoan is beyond me.

just because of their position. An OT is more valuable than an OG. Iupati is by the far the superior talent but the fact that he is an interior lineman, he is devalued since teams know they can find qaulity interior lineman throughout the draft

yup. Guards have help on both sides of them. OT's are often on an island against the OLB or DL.
