McNabb is going vs Wash Def, believe it or not but Wash. ranks #1 in pass defense.

McNabb has a history of stuggling vs the Redskins he has only thrown 2 TDS vs the Redskins the last 4 Games.

Smith might be money in garbage time again....Im just saying.....

Thank you, obviously someone else here knows football and not just names Nice stat on the last 4 games though. I am going to start Alex, thanks

Lots of people know football here and anyone who knows football understands Alex Smith is capable of giving u 5 points against any defense. The redskins offense is so bad they will not move the ball and McNabb will have a lot of scoring opportunities.

Obviously someone here needs to wake up.

Since Alex took over he has 91 fan points. Mcnabb has 111 in 2 extra qrts. Its a lot closer then you might think. Fantasy is a number game. Not the name game. Smith will out score Mcnabb this week. Just like he has done 3 of the past 5 weeks. Clearly someone hasnt been doing their homework.

you seem pretty sure about starting Alex. Why create a thread about it then?

Yes fantasy is a number game and you have alex on your team cause he is a 49er

you are asking this question because you are a 49ers fan

ANYONE who is not a 49ers fan would say start mcnabb it is a lot safer of a choice

btw, I hope alex does have an amazing game but to me the obvious fantasy choice is mcnabb

We had a similar thread before Alex Smith played the Titans, who btw were the 32nd ranked passing defense until Alex Smith faced them.

you mean the same week he had 19pts in standard leagues? as many as .... hold on .... wait ... yeah, Matt Schaub?

oh and while we're comparing him to Matty ...

this last week

Schaub: 25pts
Smith: 26pts

Now would you say Schaub is more of a sure pick at QB than McNabb?

Alex Smith had 19 pts against the Titans in your fantasy league. What kind of ridiculous settings does your league have?

This might come as a surprise, but the Jaguars generate little pass rush (they have a league-low 10 sacks), Smith should get a lot of time this week.
