Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers TE Trent Smith (knee) suffered a knee injury in NFL Europe that will keep him out of action for a long while.

Spinner injured in NFL Europe

Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers QB Bryson Spinner (shoulder) suffered a shoulder injury in NFL Europe that will keep him out of action for a long while.

Battle had knee drained last week

Roger Phillips, of the Oakland Tribune, reports San Francisco 49ers WR Arnaz Battle (knee) started experiencing swelling in his knee two weeks ago. He had fluid drained from his knee last week. The swelling was expected to happen as part of the healing process, according to Battle.

Hicks back at practice

The Sacramento Bee reports San Francisco 49ers RB Maurice Hicks was back at practice Monday, June 5, after missing last week's sessions because of family matters.

Offensive lineman Jon Feliciano and linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles recently re-signed with the San Francisco 49ers on one-year deals. OverTheCap.com has revealed the contract information for both deals. Feliciano signed a contract that includes the minimum base salary for a player with eight accrued seasons of experience—$1.21 million. Flannigan-Fowles' base salary is slightly higher, at about $1.77 million. Feliciano is scheduled to count about $2.28 million against the 2024 salary cap, while Flannigan-Fowles is slated to consume almost $1.3 million. However, the San Francisco 49ers' asking price of the No. 17 overall pick plus a player was seemingly too high for the team. Now, it appears another AFC team might be trying to pry Aiyuk away from the West Coast.
