The Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas had the San Francisco 49ers ranked 16th to win Super Bowl LIII immediately following the Philadelphia Eagles win over the New England Patriots on Sunday night. The 49ers sat at +3000, which isn't all bad when you consider the Eagles were +4000 to win Super Bowl LII at the same time last year.

One site opened Monday morning with the 49ers ranked within the top 10 to win it all next year. In fact, they were ranked seventh among all NFL teams, according to 5Dimes. Those are the best odds we've seen for the 49ers yet with oddsmakers enthusiastic about the prospect of a full season of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo at the helm.

The 49ers started last season losing nine consecutive games and going 1-10 before Garoppolo's first start. After that, the team won two straight road games and then three straight against playoff-bound teams (Titans, Jaguars, Rams) to finish 6-10.

The team with the best odds is the Patriots with the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles coming in second. The only NFC West team above the 49ers are the Los Angeles Rams, who sit one spot above San Francisco.

Below are the odds for every NFL team, according to 5Dimes and as provided by OddsShark.

49ers' Fred Warner addresses Armstead's departure, Greenlaw's recovery, Super Bowl window

By David Bonilla
Apr 22

The news of Arik Armstead's departure from the San Francisco 49ers after nine seasons with the team shocked linebacker Fred Warner. Armstead, a former first-round pick, was an impactful force on the football field. However, his availability over the last two seasons forced the 49ers to reevaluate his contract, and when his salary could not be significantly reduced, the two sides parted ways. "Huge surprise," Warner said of learning that Armstead was being released. "Ever since I've been here, we called him the blueprint for how to be a Niner. That was the longest-tenured Niner that's been here and a guy that's done it right through and through." Warner has been in the NFL long enough to understand how the league works. Over the years, he's watched several

Why one analyst is worried for Brock Purdy if 49ers trade Brandon Aiyuk

By David Bonilla
Apr 18

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy achieved a remarkable feat in 2023, setting a single-season franchise record with 4,280 passing yards. This accomplishment is noteworthy, considering the illustrious quarterbacks who have graced the organization's history. A significant portion of those yards came from wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, who amassed a career-high and team-leading 1,342 receiving yards. Most of his 75 catches originated from passes thrown by Purdy. Amidst significant offseason chatter surrounding the 49ers' star receiver, including several unsubstantiated trade rumors, Aiyuk's future remains uncertain. Former NFL player James Jones, now an analyst, expressed concern for Purdy should Aiyuk's tenure in the Bay Area come to an end. "I

7-round mock draft has 49ers adding 2 legacy players

By David Bonilla
Apr 22

Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus unveiled a seven-round mock draft for the San Francisco 49ers, addressing several key needs for the team in the 10-pick projection. Interestingly, the mock draft sees the team adding two legacy players. But before delving into that, let's examine the first three selections. Sikkema has the 49ers shoring up their offensive line at pick No. 31 with the selection of former Arizona offensive tackle Jordan Morgan. Morgan allowed 14 pressures and two sacks in his 477 pass-blocking snaps at left tackle in 2023. He earned an impressive pass-blocking grade of 87.3 and an overall grade of
